I have a 55 gallon tank with a few plants(fake). The fish currently in the tank are; 10 zebra danios, 1 golden gourami, 1 flame gourami, 3 khuli loaches and 1 golden apple snail.
I want to get a pair of kribs but am not sure how they would be with my current fish. Thanks for your input.

I think that they would be fine together, but if they'll breed, they'll chase any fish that comes close.

kribs went ok in my community tank , they had a little rock cave of their own and would chase other fish if they came too close but other than that they were peaceful

Kribs are pretty nasty whether they are breeding or not. They stressed my blue rams in particular, but also the other fish in the tank.

I wouldnt mix kribs with those fish.
Your kuhlis and other bottom fish will definetly end up dead.
My sisters kribs killed like 9 of her fish, including a fairly large Angel, several gouramis and rams, and some corys
Kribs are African Fish and should be kept in African Setups with other aggressive african fish in my opinion

Just thought I'd add my tuppence worth. I hummed and hahed for quite a while before getting kribs for my 30g 'cos I'd heard and read about their supposed aggressive tendencies. Have to say mine have been very friendly to their tankmates, and I recently gave a couple of their offspring to my gf's dad who has several smaller fish, been there about a month and look like they might be spawning with no aggression. I think it's very hard to say one way or the other. I'm not questioning the fact that some kribs can be aggressive and kill other tankmates, but that's certainly not true for all of them. Sneaky's sister's kribs sound pretty vicious, but I don't think it's a definite that there'd be any problems, the problem is finding out if your kribs are killers before you buy them I guess. Mine weren't and are now my favourite fish by far.

Kribs are relatively peaceful fishes when they are not breeding. Notice the word relatively. They can be aggressive at times. And are great defenders of their brood and fry, if they decide to breed. However, they have small territories in the tank, and in a 55 gal, the other fish you listed would be fine, WITH the exception of the Kuhli loaches. Depending on these fish's size, they are bottom dwellers, and would also have to learn the territory, so as to stay away from the breeding Kribs. They could get beat up. I have kept dozens of these fish in tanks of that size, with probably hudreds of different kinds of fish, and never had a problem with them killing anything (never kept them with Kuhli loaches though). I have also kept and bred about a half dozen different species of these fish with no problems either. No matter what fish you keep, there is always the risk of getting one that is overly aggressive. But for the most part, these fish are about a 4 on a scale of 1-10 for aggressiveness. However when they breed they are about a 8-9. But again, they do have a small territory, and the fish you listed are quick and will learn very quickly the area to stay clear of.

Kribs are African Fish and should be kept in African Setups with other aggressive african fish in my opinion

Just be sure if you are keeping them in an African Setup, that it be one of a West African Setup. As the Kribs will be beaten up if you keep them in an African Rift Lake set up. The Kribs are no where near the aggressive nature of the Rift Lake Cichlids.

HTH.....
