Yeah my albino krib male and normal krib female spawned. The female is gaurding the eggs right now. Never had a egg laying fish spawn before. Any tips or pointers as to what I should do to make them feel more comfortable. Also how long does it take for the eggs to hatch?

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
it takes a couple of days for the eggs to hatch, or maybe even up to a week depends on temperature, hardness, and pH
kribs are known as extremely good parents, the pair will guard the egg and the fry up till they are 6 month old. you can feed the fry with crushed flakes or BBS or commercial liquid/dry fry food

If you have any other fish in with them, I would get them out immediately! Some Kribs can get really aggressive when they have fry. Krib fry are pretty hardy, but it would be a good idea to hatch out some baby brine shrimp (BBS) for them. BTW, the temperature and pH can be a factor in whether the fry turn out to be male or female. It will also be interesting to see if any albinos turn up in the spawn, since one parent is the regular form.

Kribs are great parents, they take care of the fry for a long time, but you might have some trouble if you have other fish with them. You can feed the fry, crushed flakes & some Brine Shrimp.

I've known kribs to withstand some fierce fires and even convicts (in a huge tank though) in order to protect their young. They spawn really easily and care for them for ages. I'd recommend syphoning SOME of the brood out though if you wish to raise or sell on. Leaving the pair with some is essential if you don't want the male or female attacking the other as they beleive that the other has eaten the young. Careful too when the pair are ready to mate again as they will eat their existing young as they see them as a threat to the new batch.
