I would get either one or three depending on how many labs you have in that tank. Pictus can be aggressive but that should'nt be a problem for the labs at all, just make sure oyu have enough caves and i think it would work out pretty good. |

What would really be good, though, would be some upside-down cats. Most of the syndontis family would work well. |

The fact of the matter is UDCats are riverine species, living in a soft and acidic enviornment. If a pictus won't do, then a UDC surely wont. Furthermore, they are quite shy and even docile Africans such as labs may be tempted to pick at them. Multis, petris, and pollis are far better options. |

Go with Syno Multipunctatus as they look kinda like the Pictus,but WILL actually schoal together unlike the Pictus. I'd stick with 3 as your tank is not that big. Great color contrast with the yellow/black and white/black. Who knows? You might even get cat fry out of the labs eventually. |
