Would you think that a Bol Ram to be lonely by himself? He would have tetra for company but no other cichlids. And ofcourse he would have his own cave.

No, i don't think that the Ram will be lonely. At the moment i also have 1 Ram with lots of Tetra's, 2 small Angels & lots of Corydoras & he looks fine, with beautiful colours.

While rams do like being kept in male/female pairs, they will live the single life without any complaints.

I'll note that if kept in pairs, Bolivian rams can be quite easy to get breeding and are very prolific. They will also interact with each other a lot; this makes it not only fun to watch the pair's behavior, but "educational" in that you can gain easy breeding experience.

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

Well, tetras remind me of mental patients....they sit in the same place and "twitch"...it freaks me out...which is why i own zero tetras

I've got a fever... and the only prescription... is more cowbell!

I am not sure if you were the one I mentioned this too or not- but while a single ram will be just fine in a tank,
their social interactions are incredibly fascinating.
They color up far beyond what a single ram will do, and show off in ways that make them the equal to cichlids 10 times their size.
They are a very dynamic social fish, and do best in groups in my opinion, however, can be kept singly or in pairs very well, you will just never see them at their very best is all.
