Hello every one, I just have a quick question.

What is the minimum tank size for one fully grown Maingano (Melanochromis cyaneorhabdos)? (About 4" ) My friend is wanting to get one and wants to make sure he is getting the right size tank for her(the Maingano is a female).

Thanks!

Mainganos are African Mbuna, so I'd say the minimum tank would be around a 40g. For a group of them, I'd say around a 50g tank or larger is best (especially if kept with other Mbuna). They are rock dwellers so should have plenty of rock in the tank.
