well, lately in my 29 gal tall community tank my bolivian ram has been getting bossed around alot by my male dwarf sunset gourami. whats the minimum tank size i need to have the ram in? so far no nipping but the gourami is getting more and more agressive, and i figure the ram has to be stressed out by the constant badgering. I have a 10 gallon but I am pretty sure that isnt enough for a full grown bolivian ram. thoughts and or comments?

I would go no less than a 15 gallon, they need their bottom level of the tank space.. so to speak. a 10 gallon would be pushing it. I started mine out ina 15 gallon, a pair, and it worked for me. I hope this helps

72 gallon bowfront:Tanganyikan Lake set up
75 gallon: A. Baenschi trio,Cyanotilapia Afra Cobwe(4), copadichromis trewavase, protomelas sp. tangerine tiger(breeding pair)

thanks for the input...if i can get them enough tank space the only thing in the tank would be the ram,im thinking temporarily keeping it in the 10 gallon if things get too "nippy" in the community tank, if things stay normal ill just keep an eye out for a larger tank, im assuming in the 20 gallon range thanks!
