yep angels grow to be around 10-14 inches tall, and need more space than that.
There are lots of other fish you could have though.
Perhaps we can help you figure some out?
What is in the tank currently?

okay, well dimensions are about 26" long 12" wide and 13" high...

How high is your tank?. If it's less than 18 inches, i don't recommend any Angels.

Any tank that is 20g and 18 inches or taller is fine for 1 angel.
At least 25g and 18 inches tall for a breeding pair.

You need a high tank for Angels.
20 gal. is fine for 1 Angel, but it must be high & not long.
