Hi, I do not have much experience on this. You can take out the eggs and put them in another tank. From what I know is that blood parrots are hybrid and the eggs may not hatched even if they have been fertilised or the eggs can't even fertilised...

Apparently, the blood parrot is a sterile hybrid and so i wouldnt worry about any babies. Though rotting eggs might affect water quality.

Blood Parrots are not always sterile. I have heard of several cases of Parrots breeding and producing healthy viable young.
You should allow the blood parrots to raise the eggs themselves. You should know by a dozen spawns whether the fish are fertile! Good luck!

You can tell by the colour of the eggs if they are fertile or not. I think but not to sure so I will check for you that if the eggs are darkish in colour they are fertile and if they are pure white the are unfertile. I am not a hundred percent on this but I will check it out for you unless someone else lets you know before I do. Good luck I hope you get some success it is very rare to get bloods to produce young.

Yes I was right if the eggs are a nice beige colour you should have some fertile eggs but if they are white then you need to remove them quickly as they will funguses quickly causing al sorts of problems. I hope you have some nice healthy beige looking ones.

I'm sorry to tell you, but if it is a pair of blood parrots then most likely the eggs will not be fertilised. 99% of the time, male blood parrots are infertile, though females usually can produce viable eggs. most people successful in breeding blood parrots have bred females to a male midas or red devil. there is a slight chance your male could be fertile, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.
