My two oscar is actively mating(Both are about 10'')The female oscars lays tons and tons of eggs. She just dump all of them on the gravel and guard them fiercely.Even the male stay out of the way!
After a few days the eggs were still the same white color, some even have fungus growth on them. In my opinion the male is not even fertilizing them
Right now my eggs are stuck in my gravel and rot.HELP, this is the second time it happen

Its possible that you have either an immature male or perhaps two females.

Put in a large piece of slate. The next time they spawn, it is most likely they will choose the slate instead. If there already is slate, swap it with another piece.

It is very possible you have two females.

if they are about 10' id say theyr definately maturethe same thing happened to a friend of mine and her oscars are easily pushing 1"!

our local oscar specialist said that if they are growing fungus they are not fert and are most prob 2females. try puting a large flat rock (like slate) in there first, oscars prefer to lay eggs on them.
