I have just aquired a Livingstonii and a Turquoise Jewel Cichlid... anyone with experience with these guys .. let me know what you think. I have done some reading on them.. so I know their behavior traits... but I want in on what you people out there think!!

72 gallon bowfront:Tanganyikan Lake set up
75 gallon: A. Baenschi trio,Cyanotilapia Afra Cobwe(4), copadichromis trewavase, protomelas sp. tangerine tiger(breeding pair)

They are both real neat fish. The jewel is very tough and could be a problem with constant nipping. I have had them for several years but was not successful with them in a mixed tank. What size is your tank?

This tank is a 55 gallon....the rest of the fish that are in there you can find in my profile.. under "55 gallon"

You've got a lot of different cichlids in that tank... Certainly a big mix of Africans and Central Americans. I don't know how successful that tank will continue to be. I would actually be surprised if you haven't already had some problems with aggression. I know it's not what you asked but I think you will find that keeping africans seperate from american cichlids will be more rewarding in fish behavior and color. Your set up could be working great though. I suppose it's not unheard of more likely just not widely accepted.
