Well, I must have done something right because they bred about a 2-3 weeks ago (about a fortnight after purchasing them) and I now have around 30 fry, plus the female looks like she's plumping up ready to have another batch. Apart from wanting to share the news, I also have a few questions. How large do they need to be before I sell them (I will give some to my fishkeeping friend, but the others will have to be sold on to the LFS etc.)? Has anyone ever sold these or similar fish before and if so, how much for (don't worry about the conversions)? I'd like to do my bit to get these fish circling around a lot more in the hobby, because they are so beautiful and rewarding, especially when breeding. It's a shame they aren't more widely available. Anyway, thanks for any advice given. Scott P.S. If anyone is looking for some of these fish in the North of England, please PM me and we might be able to get something sorted. Thanks.
