Ok this is the story, my friend gave me 4 cichlids from a 26 gallon. They are a red zebra, red top zebra, kenyi, and what I think is a blue cobalt. I am getting a 55 gallon soon and I will be adding them to there.
These are my questions. What other fish can I put with these fish? Someone told me that a good ratio would be 1 male to every 2 females. Is it ok if thats off a little bit? Would a yellow lab be safe with the fish I have? What should the tank look like I dodnt want to go over the limites but make it look nice and safe for the fish. Does anyone have a picture of a nicly set up tank? And the fish are about 3-4 inches and I think there all males not sure. Oh and what is a good number of fish to put in a 55 gallon with out totally over crowding it? Thanks for any help:88)
