If I were you I'd go for the Nannacara anomala... but I've just always wanted that fish because of pictures I've seen in books of adults.

Yup I like the N anomala also

But I like 3/4 other species in that list too ! LOL

Waiting to hear back from the breeder to see if he sells pairs or just juvies etc and what he thinks will work in the 40g. Hanging on pins and needles.

I'm glad you found somebody who carries so many! I see why you're having a hard time deciding.

(By the way, I got the curviceps, who is currently trying to school with some black fin tetras. I'll post pictures as soon as I can find the digital camera. )

I heard back - he has to 'check his stock' and will get back to me again.

I was told a 40g should be good for 2 pairs of fish with diff body types, if so then pairs of Dorsigera and A agassizii would be sweet. I'd want to run that by Longhairedgit first as I think he has dors and curv in the same tank, not sure on tank size though.

And congrats Nerissa on finding curviceps

I have the feeling the breeder doesn't have the fry I'm after atm but still has his breeding pairs.

Waiting.... Waiting......

A.viejita is a nice choice Catdancer. I'm going to stick to the 'starters' for now
