I am working on a new setup for discus. The strain I like is Red Spotted Golden.
Is a 55 gal large enough for 5 juvies of this strain
I would not be in a position to increase the size of this tank for quite some time, so do you think this would work, or should I re-think.
Thanks
Tom.

You could put 5 discus in a 55 gal but keep in mind the more discus and the bigger they get the more you will have to do water changes, they are sensitive to water quality. To me its how much time you have to work on the tank that should decide how many discus. Good luck.
