Personaly I have never kept one. I would like to but I don't want to have a semi-big tank with a pretty large fish in it. They are very pretty fish and can be quite agressive at times. Some lady just brought in a 8" JD that was beating up her Catfish and Clown Knives. She was also feeding lots of live fish. I think that might help trigger some of the aggression. I wish you the best of luck. 19G Container Pond [IMG]http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y118/Wingsdlc/Ric |

I was told that this was an ok sized aquarium for one JD...I do have a pleco.. have had him approximately one year and he always hides and loves the driftwood I put in there about a month ago.... I never see the guy.. hehe |

I have heard it just makes more pieces of elodea and soon you will have elodea coveing the top of your tank. 20 Gallon Long: Aquaclear 300 2 Bolivian Rams, Mikrogeophagus altispinosus: Gumby and Pokey |
