Ya at this point i'm interested in the fish's wellbeing. I don't want to put more time and money only to ruin it's life ... but I don't want to bring them back for them to only be exposed to worse....ahh lol..

I'm gonna look into the Jack Dempsey I think!!! still undecided

best advice i can give you is read up and research. internet makes life so much easier. also if your unaware of cycling of a tank you prolly should read up on that also. if you precycle a tank its a ton less stress on a new fish. some fish will also die while a tank is cycling.

there are article on this site about different ways to cycle ad also how to instantly cycle a tank by seeding it. take your time and be patient and this hobby will pay you back 10 fold with enjoyment. becarefull though. that 60g tank will quickly appear to small for your liking the more you like fish lol. i prolly send that much water down the driveway weekly in a single water change between all my tanks. addiction, terrible thing to waste.
