I think it could use one, especially now that it gets quite a bit of traffic.

I'd like to nominate Just Beginning, since she's quite active in this sub-forum and gives very good information.

Is anyone, Just Beginning included, opposed to this? I don't know who's authority we need here, but hopefully I'm not overstepping any bounds by bringing up the topic.

Thanks for the vote of confidence! However, being a site moderator, I have the same powers (for lack of a better word) that a mediator in here would have, so there's no real need to make it that formal. I am in here all the time, so I can move threads etc. as needed.

Mediators get chosen the way moderators do, by Adam. So I'll put it to him that there is no current mediator, and see whether he thinks there should be one.

Whatever happend to Mbunakeeper, anyway? EdgarFanCLS, I think that you'd do a great job as mediator. I think that all you have to do is ask Adam, and since you're a premium member it shouldn't be a problem.

Heh, I don't think I'd make a very good mediator. For one thing, I tend to drift away from FP for days on end, so my contribution is pretty inconsistent.

That's a good question about Mbunakeeper. I haven't seen him post in ages (or at least several months! ). He used to dole out some pretty good advice. Acei also knows his stuff, but I haven't seen him on recently either.
