If they are the same species, and relatively the same size, then I should think that it would work. L. ocellatus can be rather aggressive for their size, and males may fight and chase each other around the tank. If you really want to add more, try to buy females.

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

Males and females are equally aggressive, and adding new fish to the tank now may cause some problems and fatalities.
20g isn't too large for having more Ocellatus - for the floor area you might be able to add another.
If you do add any more Ocellatus (any other shelldweller species is likely to be killed by the Ocellatus in that size tank) be sure to move their shells around so they have to re-establish territory, and also consider adding a rock or two to break up the line of sight from one another. (If they can constantly see each other, they'll be more likely to be constantly having a go at one and attacking each another.)

I must agree with Malaikah. But, I would not add any more of them to that size of tank. The territories of two breeding pairs would cross over into each others space. They would fight, and in the end, I fear you would lose some. I would suggest you get some other kind of fish, like something for the mid to upper area of the water column. As these spaces are rarely taken by the ocellatus fishes. Just make sure it is a fish that is a fast swimmer. Some fish suggestions would be, some rainbows, some guomies, some killis, some tetras, ect.

HTH....

You might be able to add another Ocellatus with no guarantees of all three surviving!

if you were hoping to eventually end up with a breeding pair maybe you could try to trade one of your females with a friend or LFS. just remember to rearrange the decore as said before!
