	Old Fish
OldTimer Mega Fish USAF Retired Posts: 1181 Kudos: 1294 Votes: 809 Registered: 08-Feb-2005	Hi all.. Brand new to the site, but I've been in the hobby for over 30 years. My question or comment is I currently have a Tilapia buttikoferi that I've had since 1988 making him +-17 years old now. Anyone else with a fish that old or have you had them that old? He/she is rather large at approximately 16" and I would estimate around 4 pounds. He is really aggressive and has even been known to bite the hand that feeds him if given the opportunity. As such he is the sole occupant of a 75g. Water, taken in moderation, cannot hurt anybody. -- Mark Twain
