My oscars recently laid some eggs, lots and lots of egg. This is the first time I will try to raise them artificially, because all the other time the oscar didn't do a good job protecting the eggs, but rather gobble it up!
Well, it been 3 days now, the eggs are fertilize and hazel color, and to top it off is a forest of fungus. They are going to hatch soon and I don't know what to feed them when their yolk sack is gone. Can they eat Hikari frozen brineshrimp cube? I don't want to hatch them. Please add some more food courses!

Kensfish has something called golden pearls, that is decapsulated BS eggs. They also have something called oscar grow which has really small pellets (about the size of betta bites) that should work. Shipping is pretty cheap. Might be worth checking out if you dont want to hatch them yourself.

you can crush up some flake for them as well, try leaving your light on next time they lay eggs and until the fry are swimming the it seems to keep the parents from stressing and eating up the eggs

The difference between 'involvement' and 'commitment' is like an bacon and egg breakfast: the chicken was 'involved' - the pig was 'committed'."
