as u know i have three baby oscars that i just moved into a different tank. n.e way i was wondering about these following questions,
1,do they naturally when small school together?
2, when ever i turn on the fish tank light they get all scared , but when i turn on the room light they don't mind and they come up to see me but when i turn on the light or try to feed them they get scared and hide on the bottom.

sounds like pretty normal behavior for juvenile New World cichlids. as they get older they'll become more brave and not scare as easily.

It sounds noramal to me, espcially Oscars. Try turning on the room light, then turning on the aquarium light. It would be frightening to me too if I was in total darkness and then the whole room lit up around me. Try to start gradually turning on the aquarium light sooner and sooner and see if that helps.
