Seen one in the lfs and just want some more info than I have read about. What size do they reach in the aquarium? How big tank do they require? How about thier diet? Any tank mates with those monsters? Thanks.................openwater. |

I would go absolutely no less than 8' long x 3' wide but this will still cramp a full sized male. an 8' x 4' would be great but this size tank would cost a lot of money tankmates...probably none. considering the max. size and aggression level of a dovii you'd be very hardpressed to find any tankmate that the dovii would allow. you'd be doing good to be able to keep a pleco with a dovii. ![]() |
