![]() | Parrot Cichlid in a 33? |

Anyway, my fish store (the only one in my town) recently received three beautiful adult blood parrots. One is about 7 inches and the other two are around 6. Is it possible to purchase one of these bad boys and put them in my 33 gallon? Currently i just have two in there (about 3 inches) and an electric yellow. If i took the two back and kept the electric yellow (he's about four inches), is it feasible? Thanks! (yes, i know this is not IDEAL) |

IMO, your best bet would be to get several more electric yellows. parrots really need a 4' tank because as you saw with the large ones at the lfs they can get pretty big. ![]() |

Another idea would be to get 2 more electric yellows (all of similar size to the one you currently have) and 2 Pseudotropheus Acei...of course there will have to be rock formations to keep the aggression down to a minimum...
