I have two Convicts, one male and one female(which is expecting), and I have noticed the male is constantly rubbing the side of his body on everything(the gravel floor, ornaments, rocks). Is this normal or is something wrong? I also had a piranha that did this. Hope someone can help. Thanks!

Anyway, what your fish is doing is called 'flashing', and they do it when something is itching them. Have you noticed any signs of ich or other diseases? What are your water parameters (ph, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate)?

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.
