No prob with adults though. "Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder." |

No, dont just get one, get a couple, while not schoolers per say, they do enjoy company. I would recommend just a group of 3-4. Angelfish will eat any fry so no cautions on gender, as no fry will survive. Come Play Yahtzee With Me! http://games.atari.com Http://www.myleague.com/yahtgames |

platyfish124 Small Fry Posts: 8 Kudos: 5 Votes: 9 Registered: 24-Aug-2006 | one last question: when can i put in the angelfish considering the bacteria are in the filter as i used some bacteria from my older 20 gallon and i used a lot of cycle to cover the rest? or do i have to put in the platies first cause i am just moving the platies not buying new ones |

Wait on the angles until the tank is pretty mature. They are very sensitive to adverse conditions and would not appreciate any ammonia or nitrite spike. I lostt my firt angels this way.....my tank simply wasn't ready.....even with Bio-Spira and tons of seed material. Angels need a mature tank. IMO "Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder." |
