GrimZ Enthusiast Posts: 233 Kudos: 389 Votes: 20 Registered: 16-Sep-2003 | Hey everyone, My convicts egg's (that I didnt know they had ) just hatched, and now the parents are very agressive to the other two convicts in my tank. I want to put the other two convicts into my 55 gallon showtank, but I dont know if they will bother anything. In my show tank I have two angelfish, one Parrotfish, 3 clown loaches, 1 gaurami, 1 pleco, a catfish, and 2 kribs. Will the convicts have problems or bother the other fish? Thanks |

GrimZ Enthusiast Posts: 233 Kudos: 389 Votes: 20 Registered: 16-Sep-2003 | yeah I'm going to leave them with the parents until they get a little bigger, then I'll take them and put them in my other 29 gallon tank that I will set up. I'll probably sell most of them, but I'll keep like 4 of the nicest ones to see if i can keep breeding them. |

Cichilds are known to be good parents to their children. Some fry eat secretions off of the parents, which is another good reason to keep the parents with their fry. You can purchase an aquarium divider for your tank. As for setting up the 29 gal, I would be careful. You don't want to place fish into an uncycled tank. I would go with the aquarium divider I've got a fever... and the only presc |
