I was looking at Pseudotropheus estherae and saw that they are fair inexpensive. What would be an adequate amount of these fish to put in a 65 gallon tanks with hopes of breeding down the line? |

Try Melanochromis, or other Pseudotropheus. mine has an endless duel going with the Pseudotropheus Socolofi on the other side of the tank. they have their sides to themselves. they often give eachother evil eyes from either sides of the tank.. lol |

Estherae very aggressive....Compared to most other Africans ![]() If your looking to breed, keep a species tank of them. A decent breeding set-up in your 65g would probably be 2m, 5-7f.The more you have the greater the odds of always having fry at some stage of growth. ![]() Lots of rock-work and they'll do the rest. |
