How do I prepare Pseudotropheus zebra for breeding?
And do I have to put a pair in a tank alone or do I leave them in the Malawi Tank?

all you really have to do is get the male a few females to hang around. eventually they will spawn. give them a few caves and hiding spots and they will breed. malawi cichlids will not pair up and breed. they ae harem breeders. may i ask why you are concerned about breeding? are you going to try to breed them for profit?

hi McLean,
all you have to do is have about 3 females for every male and use a temperature of 25-28C. Doing this aswell has having a few caves will increase your chances of breeding them. Doing a water change and replacing it with cooler water can also trigger them in breeding (as what i've heard, i could be wrong).

Also you can just leave them in your normal Malawi tank to breed.

I hope that helped you.
