I am in the process of completing my tank, but I stumbled over a fish that really had me drooling. The lfs said that this would be okay. Here goes. I have 2 brichardi's, 3 syno. petricolas and 1 grey leapord pleco. I saw these "congo tetras" which to me are community fish, but the LFS said that it would be okay to keep all of them together. I think all these fish would look sharp together, but I'm wondering if anyone has experiances with these fish living together, or if they are even compatible. Thanks. |

Brichardi are quite territorial & aggressive & eventually the Congo will get stressed. As malaikah said:- they need different type of tanks, with different water chemistry & tank size. :88) http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

I was planning on putting maybe 3 of the tetras in there, but I guess that won't work out. I have seen congos with discus, which is another cichlid, I wish there was another fish that looked close to the tetras. But also something that would go along with cichlids |
