The males will joust and show off to each other, and dig pits to show how talented they are. A very peaceful fish, very hardy. Make sure to feed a sinking food and be sure to include the algae wafers every few days! A great fish, they get around 3 inches long minus the fins. Very beautiful. The blue rams are also gorgeous, a little more sensitive, and behave similarly to bolivian rams. | chapman76 Hobbyist Posts: 91 Kudos: 68 Votes: 0 Registered: 28-Apr-2004 | If you get German Blue Rams, I highly suggest getting them directly from a known breeder because many of the ones you get out of a LFS are weaker and less colorful. I am a very anal fishkeeper failed to keep 4 ok looking rams alive. Only ever had 5 fish die out of the 60-70 I've kept over the last year. 4 were rams. |
