Hey folks,

Bad news to report. I had 5 electric yellows in a 29 gallon tank. 3 adults (1 male & 2 femailes) and 2 fry. Unfortunately tonight I discovered the larger of the 2 females dead. She was underneath a piece of rock I used to make caves. Apparently she got herself stuck when she burrowed underneath the rock in the sand and it collapsed on her. I has just filled in all the the spots where she had removed the sand, but I must of missed a spot and she had just enough room to swim underneath.

RIP little one.

Sorry to hear that! Unfortunately, it's a natural part of fish keeping.
