I am comparing german/blue rams with bolivian rams... what are some of the differences? And what kind of setup to rams like decor wise, do they like a lot of plants, or more rocks? do they prefer to have caves or is open water ok? or should I do a cave/plant combo? are they a very active fish during the day? oh, and this is slightly unrelated but the tank I'm thinking of for them is at the foot of my bed because aquariums are relaxing and they take my mind off my heavy A.D.D. while I am trying to fall asleep ![]() |

I have a bolivan ram, his colors are nice, but I've seen pictures of german rams and their colors are extrodinary. Yet I have heard that many german rams you find at an LFS are fragile... I'm sure both species would like hiding places and plants. As for the lighting...during the day is there a lot of light in your room? Fish need day and night intervals...they gotta sleep too! As long as there is not sunlight in your room, I think it'll be ok. |
