I bought him when he was about an inch long and within about 2 years he was approaching a foot!. I had him in with 2 Green Terrors which he grew up with and was fine, but one day I came home to 2 dead GTs so I decided that tank was for him only. He later died because he jumped out of the tank. He actually jumped up and knocked open the feeder lid and fell out. I found him dried up on the floor and it was a bad day. However, in the time that I had him he was an AWESOME fish and also very colorful. If you like big aggressive cichlids than go for it. I don't know about housing them together though. Not sure of the female temeperement but if it's anything like the male you will have a hard time keeping ANYTHING with one. |
