I have all escargot shells in my tank and they are light, I think light enough for the fish to move. My question is do I need to arrange the shells myself into any specific arrangement or will the fish move them around how they like them? |

The two piles thing is right on the money; two thick shellpiles allow for two territories and will give them what they want without needing a hundred shells to carpet the tank. However, a couple of shells should be in any empty spaces to allow for temporarily excluded members; colonial or not, multis are cichlids and they can be quite clique-y. -Molly Visit shelldwellers.com! |
