Go with a bristle nose.

Great algae eaters and they stay small (under 6 inches).

Plecos grow to about 12 inches in size and cause huge bioload. But when they are small, they are really cute looking and nice. They also clear off the food fallen at the bottom of the tank.

You could add a pleco if you wanted to, but keep the size and the bioload in mind.
