i have two "either mida or red devil" cichlids that i can't tell what type they are.

at the lfs they were uder the name mida cichlid, but they look like the red devil fish i saw at a different petsotre.

what can i look for? they are about 2-3 inches long, one is a 98% white and the other is a marble of red and white.

I would say Midas, because of the mix of white and red.

since you got it at an lfs then most likely it is a red devil/midas cross. the only way to get a true red devil or true midas is to get one from a very reputable breeder or importer.
