I wanted a blue acara... but they look like green terrors.. or was I looking at a green terror? You would think BLUE would have something to do with it.... Can someone help me! do the juviniles look the same!? HELP! I think blues would be so neat to add to my cichlid tank! 72 gallon bowfront:Tanganyikan Lake set up 75 gallon: A. Blue acaras tend to have vertical bands of color, which green terrors do not have. Also, larger green terrors have humps on their head. As has already been said, blue acaras also might show vertical bands similar to a Jack dempsey and may also have a black line running vertically through their eyes. Both of these are traits that won't be seen on a Green Terror/Gold Saum. ![]() |
