Why don't you go down to your lfs in your area and write down the name of the fish that are available to you and come back with the list of fish that interest you and ask from there.

Yuck, dont do that. I would suggest going with peacocks/haps setup. Ngara flametail, aulo. baenschi, taiwnee reef, boreyli, yellow blaze, sulferhead, ruby red rubscen. IMO those are some very nice african fish. But ur tank gotta decide, or take a look around, if u wanna see some pics let me know i can send u some.

o btw, i wouldnt suggest buying from LFS if u can help it, find some local breeders...they will have fish most LFS wont have..where u located?

i work for a fish supplier so gettin most kinds of fish is no prob...i like the convict cichlid yet i like variety and have heard of them being quite scrappy. Afican cichlids are nice but then there's the variety issue. i have a 25 gal community tank now but have no clue on how to take care of cichlids
