knguyent Small Fry Posts: 6 Kudos: 2 Votes: 0 Registered: 25-May-2008 | Im thinking about buying 1 M and 2 F Pseudotropheus lombardoi. However, right now i have a Pseudotropheus elongatus in there and im not sure how he is going to take it with the look-a-like females... My tank is 72G btw with plenty of caves and rocks... Thank you guys. |

And your males especially, are going to get hurt and possibly killed. The other thing to worry about, is cross breeding. If your elongatus should be the winner in the outcome, he will for sure spawn with the lombardoi. Pseudotropheus are very commonly known to cross breed within the genus. I would highly suggest you not putting together these fish. There is always a bigger fish... |
