A lot of the information I read gives me a different opinion of what size they get to. My fish book and about 50% of the web pages I looked at say they get to 20cm but the other 50% say they get to just 12cm. Got a couple the other week after wanting them for a while and am very glad I did. Has anybody got any pics of adults? thanx |

They are mainly considered to me medium sized cichlids that would fall up to the 6/7" mark. They, like other amersican cichlids would prefer more alkaline water with mine at aroun 7.6pH. They are failry easy to keep though. Picture of a pair can be found in this link: http://www.tangledupincichlids.com/images/sajica.pair.jpg ... and an article about breeding them on thsi link: http://www.cichlidae.com/tanks/t037.php Good luck! |

I was told the male in the pic on tangledupincichlids.com was about 5" in this pic which was taken a couple years after the one that cichlidmad posted. ![]() Last edited by Jason_R_S at 15-Jul-2005 07:14 |
