Get a bigger tank, the GT is the most agrressive Cichlid out there

If you mean that the Green Terror is the most aggressive of all cichlids, well not hardly. A green terror would stand no chance against P. dovii, C. umbriferum, N. beani, N. haitiensis or N. istlanum.

Thanks everyone for replying!
At the end, my GT kill every fish in the tank and he is now move into the 250 gallons tank.
He is now very happy and enjoy his huge space, the good thing is that my Godzilla Size Arowana totally ignore him
and for the fish that he kill, let them rest in peace.:88)

What he kill: 2 oscars, 1 electric yellow, 1 electric blue, and I return the JAGUAR to the fish store.

What survive: A pleco

Jimmy, you must be thinking of someone else. I didn't have a digital camera back when I had that jag. This and a few other threads have stirred me up again...now I find myself wanting another jag.

im predicting a chang of heart for the terror once that jag gets bigger and grows its teeth around 6-8 inches its going to hand the terror a beating.

Absolutely! Green terrors will mature much sooner than a jag and at a smaller size. Once that jag hits 6-8" as Jimmy22 said he/she will reach maturity and have a complete attitude change. I used to have a jag that was very docile until ~7" and then it completely took over the 125 gallon it was in. The midas I used to have had been the ruler of the tank, but one night I came in to find the midas cowering in the corner and the jag swimming about happily. The jag never harmed the midas but the midas was stuck in a small corner of the tank until I traded in the jag. Keep an eye out in a few months.

The name green terror means nothing unless it is a pure strain. My GT got smashed up by my salvini 4inches smaller than it. So give it time and you will see a role reversal.

The terror will be fine in the 250, although I'd be worried about your oscars somewhat but with that kind of room maybe they'll leave each other alone.

If your plan is to quarentine them before putting them in larger tank, it is best to do one at a time. This way you isolate them and they grow much quicker. Good to do as sometimes fish from store are not in the best of health and bringing them to new enviroment only adds stress.
One at a time.
Patience!

Well, I put my Jaguar in a small tub of water and he is happier. He come out to eat now and looks really healthy. I don't think he's not having any territory or anything, its just the green terror, I left one detail out, my GT bit my Jaguar tail off. Who woulnt be afraid after someone bit bit your legs off?

Well obviously you need to do some researching because jaguar cichlids are kinda weird in a way... remove all the fish from the tank... put the jag back in for about half a day, let it establish it territory, itll be the othter way around for your terror...

HELP! My Green Terror is abusing my Jaguar and send him/her into a tramuatic emotional breakdown.Mean Green just chase him all over the place.
Poor Jaguar sits in the very top corner near the filter and hide. He won't come out to eat and sits very still (still alive)
Any Suggestion?

she is quarentineing them not growing them

fishy,

Trojan man 's profile has:

250g - 1 16" Gold Arowana+ 2 10" Oscars
10g-2 albino oscars, 1 green terror, 1 jaguar,
1 electric yellow,
1 pleco.
All under 2'' in the 10g, don't panic!

Seems as if this terror was under 2 inches in the 10 gallon at some point. He now states that the terror is now amazingly 3.5 inches, sounds to me he's growing them out. Do you usually keep a fish in a QT so long that they grow 1.5 inches?

If you are growing your fish out to be put in the 250 gallon tank, I would really suggest something larger then a 10 gallon tank.

Oh, and the tank size, Im quarantine them until they are ready for the 250 gallons (might save me quite load of green). Its just so lonely in that big tank.

What do you expect from many highly aggressive fish packed into a tiny tank? Why do you have so many in such a small tank?

They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes,
They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver,
So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.
