I did have a Dempsey in there with him that was constantly hiding because if he came out he would be pestered. |

I put him in a 70 gallon with a 5 inch Flamingo Cichlid (King Midas twin) and an 4 inch abramite headstander. At first the texan was dominant and took over the Flamingo's cave. Over the last four months, the flamingo has outgrwn the texan by about two inches and is now the dominant fish, but niether are deadly aggressive (yet). Both of them leave the abramite alone and vice versa. |
