![]() | The love affair is over |

They were always staying close to one another and seemed to be getting along very well. They actually seemed to be enjoying each other’s gentle glides over one another. After the Oscar was injured we separated them for about three week while she healed. We reunited them last week and I think she is a little upset with the Catfish who is no longer giving her any attention. This is where it gets funny. The Catfish has a log he likes to hide in. First she blocked the opening with the plastic plants that are in the tank. All 6 plants had been moved and placed like a barricade around the log. Then she started moving the shells and rocks to block the entrances. As if this was not enough, she started scooping up the rocks and dropping them on his head. She has made that end of the tank look like a ski slope. He can still get out and basically ignores her. He moved to the other log and she is doing the same thing at the other end of the tank. She has not tried to attack the Catfish by biting him. Should I be worried about this or has any one else seen such behavior? ![]() |

If it hasn't been aggressive in the past it probably won't attack the catfish. It may be moving stuff out of boredom now that the cat won't play. Gotta love Oscars, Mike |
