We needed the empty tank for free swimmer's. The one is very meen to all the other's but one. What do I do to see if the black is male or female. HOKESE Mega Fish Posts: 1105 Kudos: 478 Votes: 271 Registered: 22-Feb-2003 | well my freind has a angel pair and when a spawn is close they do the kissing dance and the male gets a tad peckesh on the feamales tale, and they clean the slate like crazy, then after a couple of days of that type of behavoiur, they spawn on the peice of slate(floor tiles),this only happens like 2 times a year, and when the eggs hatch they remove the male, cause he sits down to a big meal on the kids, but this only the case with my mates angels, yours could be different,i just thought it mite help as for the fella who is being mean, thers not much you can do if 2 fish just take a disliking to one another,or one fish just dosent like anyone in the tank(had a salvini like that a while back),there are a number of ways you can try to combat aggresion,u can turn the temp down a few degrees, but i dont recomend that 1,you can put the aggressor in a qt tank by himself,or you can leave the aggressor in the tank, but use a divider to keep him seperate from the others, theres heaps of ways but sometimes they work and sometimes it dosent, its gone both ways for me,it worked well b4,but then another time it didint work at all, when i put the aggressor back in,he just picked up where he left off..but good luck.... |
