Well i've had these Angels for about 2 months now. All has seemed fine until I noticed one nipping at the other. I've read the profile for Angels and it has said how hard it is to distinguish males from females. Are these the only way to tell? What can I do? If anything, or will I have to start from scratch and take my chances I get a compatible pair? Thanks all

Mine started doing that and then they spawned a couple of weeks later! So, it might not necessarily mean that they are an incompatible pair. The only way I've been able to tell the sexes apart is when they're actually spawning (by the spwaning tubes). If I were you I'd just keep a close eye on them for a few weeks. If the chasing/nipping continues and it gets worse, then you may have a problem. But give it some time ....

Give them some time & keep an eye on them. The nipping may be mating or fighting, but usually Angels lock their mouths together when fighting. Enjoy your Angels & keep us posted.......
