Not familiar with the raising of angelfish fry, but CONGRATULATIONS on the new additions. Good luck.

Angels learn from experience...if this is their first batch, they may not guard as well and the eggs will get eaten by them if they feel provoked or by other fish for nutrition. If they breed now, they will probably breed again, so they will be other chances. Make sure you have a lot of hiding places for the fry. stacks of rocks, java moss, leafy plants.

I've got a fever... and the only prescription... is more cowbell!

[font color="#000080"]the tank is a 44 gallon with 4 angels... by the way the male is the platinum and the female is a silver zebra so the fry would be very interesting... 4 pearl gouramis..2 striped tail catfish..2 bristlenose plecos.. 1 full grown clown pleco.. 6 adult ameca splendens.. 2 babies.. and more to come in a couple of days... but there is 2 amazon swords (1 bigger than the other).. some med. vals...java fern and a sm piece of wood... i want to move the fry to a 5 gallon for growth.. and my tank is a penagonal corner tank by the way so the territory is smaller.. angel fish really lack the maternal instinct of most cichlids they will porbably eat the babies if they arent moved to a Q/T tank.....
