can anyone give me some names of fish that are red in colour which are afrcian cichlids to go in my community cichlid tank,i have electra yellow, blues, and peacock i need some red in my tank to top off my colours in there

Jewels are red in color, but I wouldn't keep them with your Peacocks. They're too aggressive. Other than that, you might find a Zebra that's an orangish red color, but they're still too aggressive to go with peacocks. The fact that you have Peacocks in your tank limits your choices significantly.

what kind of peacock do you have in your tank?
a. rubescens are red.it may go with the other fish in your tank. other than that, i cant think of any red ones that are compatible.

Definitely don't get jewels if you have peacocks. My jewel was to aggressive for my peacocks and I had to donate my jewel. Mbunas are not the best tankmate either. Try eureka red peacock for the red.

eureka red, red empress, rubescens, german red. there are a few others but i can't remember them right now.
