My convicts have a bunch of cute little babies swimming around. And i was just wondering what are some other fish that are easy to breed? Ill take some non-cichlid suggestions too.

Most of the shelldwellers, for a given value of "easy." N. multifasciatus in particular is a bunnyrabbit species.

kribensis and blue acaras are.. but they are cichlids.. for non cichlids.. guppies.. certain types of killifish (aphyosemion amieti) umm all kinds of live bearers..cherry barbs are ok.... lots of stuff just read into the stuff you have ideas about and get the right conditions for them..

I have a pair of kribs that have only been together for 5 days, and they have already laid some eggs in their cave and I am awaiting the newbies... So I would say give the Kribensis cichlid a try.

I also have a swordtail that is ready to give birth for the second time in just over a month. Its been great to watch her first batch of fry grow.

Keyhole Cichilds are supposed to be wonderful to breed as well.

Just about any of the live bearers are easy to breed. Almost too easy. My White Clouds keep on spawning, but I don't think the male is able to fertilize the eggs

I don't know about the cichlids, but guppies will breed right away if you have males and females. Other livebearers do to I think.
