It look like a clouded leopard pattern on a fish. It is only like an inch long, it is sooo pretty! What could it be? |

Sometimes the LFS mix up the original names, let alone knowing what the Assorted are. I really hate them when they lable fish, especially Cichlids as Assorted. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

The novice keeper has no idea what the fish is and if it's compatible. Anyway, if I had to guess as to what the fish is, I would say that it's probably a Venustus. |

Thats the most common one I can pick out there. Also a lot of place label them assrt cichlids because of the hybrids that come in with it. The distributors are at fault to since they sell em as that. Though there is a difference when they label fish that I trade in and tell em what they are assorted cichlids. Some times though you can find gems hidden in the rough. |
