Okay, My oscars are totally fine just wondering about behaviour....

Recently I have noticed that there is a white fine lines at the end of both of my oscars tails and rears of there fins, now I read somewhere that that is a sign of sexual matureity.. Is that true first off??

Second the smaller of the two (by width and a bit length) has started to pick up the rocks on the bottom and move them around. I also read, I think this one was on this site that when cichilds do this there making room for a nest..... Is this true??

Now the weird part, there young....about almost 4 inches, they should not be showing this until there around 6 inchs right??? Or could they be showing this if they really like each other

I dunno I just need some help with these weird and fun fish.
I also dont belive the white lines are fin rot it been like that for weeks and no even slight changes in there bodys.

Thanks
Angel Eel

the white, if it is on the tail and the soft part of the dorsal fin, is just fin growth...
the digging in the gravel is just what oscars do.

They're gonna move the gravel how they want it, no matter what you do & how you'll arrange it.
